PRAX Studio is led by Stephen Pratt. Stephen is the point of contact for all PRAX client relationships and leads the design and delivery of all our projects from inception to completion. Stephen is a NSW and QLD registered architect with over 20 years of experience in the design and delivery of commercial, residential and mixed-use architecture. His experience extends from involvement in design competitions to leadership of teams through design development and the management of complex client and stakeholder engagement through project delivery. Prior to forming PRAX Studio, Stephen held senior roles at several of Australia’s largest and most highly regarded design practices where he led a number of significant and award-winning projects across Australia’s eastern states and abroad.

Amanda leads business operations and management at PRAX Studio. Amanda has over 15 years of leadership experience delivering large projects including technology transformations, acquisitions, mergers, and workforce restructuring. She has held senior management positions both in Australia and abroad and worked for several large firms such as Deloitte, TAFE NSW and the Royal Australian Air Force. As a consultant, Amanda has led successful projects for a number of large corporate and institutional clients such as Energy Queensland, Stanwell, Suncorp and Queensland Health. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland and sits on the Board of Directors of Family Services Australia as well as being a Principal of PRAX Studio.

Our design process leverages industry-leading tools to ensure clear and engaging communica-tion with project stakeholders. We take a rational, analytical approach, working closely with clients to uncover hidden possibilities and develop tailored design solutions.
The process begins with thorough research to understand our client’s brief, site, context, and measures of success. Through an iterative cycle of ideation, testing, and analysis, we collabo-ratively narrow options to a preferred solution. Finally, we refine and implement the design, guiding the project to a successful outcome.
