The organic geometry and natural material palette of this design is inspired by its picturesque rural setting. For a client intending to use it for holidays and short stays, the internal space is relatively modest, encouraging an outward-looking engagement with the surrounding landscape. The dramatic arched roof forms frame specific views while providng shelter and shading for the large areas of glazing where needed.
