PRAX Studio has been engaged to deliver a new luxury townhouse development in Bowen Hills. Situated on a dramatically sloping block with 1:4 gradient, our strategy was to cut a basement level of parking and services into the hillside onto which the living spaces are perched. This approach allows each town house to embrace uninterrupted city skyline views that are available from the site.   

The development comprises 6 luxury townhouses featuring four bedrooms and dual living areas with generous covered outdoor decks on both living levels. The western facade, forming the primary street elevation, features an arrangement of vertical windows that simultaneously rotate away from the afternoon sun and towards the city views while deep horizontal projections provide shading.
